Russian Forests Studied From Space Dr. Sergey Bartalev presents the results of the remote sensing project dedicated to studies of carbon kept by Russian forests. Black Hole Spins Lying on Its Side A black hole in the X-ray binary MAXI J1820+070 turned out to be strongly tilted with respect to the orbit of the binary. This discovery may have seroius implications for the measurements of black hole masses and spins from X-Ray observations. The results are published in Science on February 25, 2022.
