On October 20–22, 2025, the final stage of the National Competition for Young Researchers and Developers "Step into the Future, JUNIOR" takes place in Moscow. IKI RAS is one of the host organizations for the "Physics and Space Exploration" section.

From 27 to 29 August 2025, the final of the nationwide project "Space Expedition of the First 2025" took place in Moscow, with about two hundred schoolchildren and students from 33 regions of the Russian Federation participating. IKI scientists gave lectures for the project participants.

Prof. Alexander Lutovinov, IKI deputy director and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, gave a presentation about the history and modern achievements of space science to the participants of the special program “300 Years of the RAS: A Fundamental View of the World,” organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Artek International Children's Center. He also answered the question — why study the Universe at all.

On April 1, 2025, IKI hosted Space Research and Modern Astrophysics session of MIPT Landau School for Physics and Research.

International Forum for Scientific Youth «Step into the Future», dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, is underway in Moscow on March 24–28, 2025. On March 25, the participants of two sections presented their findings at IKI.

Students from 'space classes' of the school №60 from Rostov-on-Don visited IKI and went through an intensive course on space science from 27 to 31st January as part of the RAS's Basic Schools program.

December 4 to 10 A. D. Shvetsov Perm Aviation Technical College hosted the Second All-Russian Space Championship. bringing together more than 120 school students and 35 tutors, including IKI scientist, from 30 Russian regions.

From 1st to 5th July, the School was attented by more than 80 researchers, who discussed various problems relating to laboratory modelling of the astrophysical processes, search for life on exoplanets, and other urgent questions of astrophysics, geophysics, and space physics.
