November 29 Russian Science Foundation announced the winners of the contest of small scientific teams. Among them is the project led by IKI scientist.

Using data from Venus Express SPICAV infrared spectrometer, IKI scientists determined the ratio of water vapour in the lowest layers of Venusian atmosphere. Depending on the model, it is 23.6–27.7 ppmv and does not depend on the local time or season. Results are published in Atmosphere journal.

Large solar flares on November 9–11 2025 were the cause of solar mass ejections, which, in turn, resulted in intense geomagnetic storms. On November 10–14 2025 Mikhail Pavlinsky ART-XC telescope onboard Russian Spektr-RG observatory registered the rise in high-energy proton fluxes in L2.

November 10–14, 2025 IKI hosted the 23rd international conference "Modern Problems of the Earth Remote Sensing".

The ceremony took place on October 24, 2025 in Moscow.

On October 20–24, 2025 IKI hosted annual Moscow Solar System Symposium, dedicated to the exploration of other planets and, as of today, planets around other stars.

On October 20–22, 2025, the final stage of the National Competition for Young Researchers and Developers "Step into the Future, JUNIOR" took place in Moscow. IKI RAS is one of the host organizations for the "Physics and Space Exploration" section.

On October 16, 2025 Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, visited IKI.

As today, October 10, World Space Week comes to an end, we congratulate everyone on the beginning of the space era and publish an image by the SPIN-X1-MVN X-ray monitor, which has been operating aboard the International Space Station since February 2025.
