On February 15-16, 2023 the conference "Carbon in Ground Exosystems: Monitoring", initiated by the Center of Forest Ecology and Productivity of the Russian Academy of Sciences, took place at IKI.

Black Sea requires special attention. Supported by Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, IKI monitors the region, using remote sensing data and subsatellite experiments.
