The model describing the infrared radiation of interstellar dust inside the Solar system may help with the studies of the activity of far-away stars.

November 29 Russian Science Foundation announced the winners of the contest of small scientific teams. Among them is the project led by IKI scientist.

Using data from Venus Express SPICAV infrared spectrometer, IKI scientists determined the ratio of water vapour in the lowest layers of Venusian atmosphere. Depending on the model, it is 23.6–27.7 ppmv and does not depend on the local time or season. Results are published in Atmosphere journal.

IKI researchers took part in the events of the "Laboratory of the Future: Russia's Space Era — New Horizons," which were held as part of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future" on October 8, 2025, at the National Center Russia.

On July 11, 2025 RSF announced the results of three competitions for young scientists. Among the winners are three projects, led by IKI scientists.

April, 2, 2025 Russian Science Foundation published the lists of winners of three grant competitions. Among the projects of the individual scientific groups to be supported by RSF are the projects led by IKI researchers.

Having measured HCl and water ice abundance in Martian atmosphere with the ACS spectrometer onboard TGO mission, scientists showed that it is HCl uptake onto water ice cloud particles that can swiftly reduce the content of HCl in the atmosphere.
