The Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin presented Government science and technology awards on November 27, 2024.

Plasma parameters on the borders of the heliosphere help small interstellar dust particles permeate deep into Solar system, according to a new model developed by IKI researchers Egor Godenko and Vladislav Izmodenov. Two identical satellites Ionosphere-M №1 and №2 are to be launched on November 5, 2024 from Vostochny launch pad. г. They are part of Ionozond project, which will focus on the studies of terrestrial ionosphere and space weather monitoring.

Participants of the 15th Moscow Solar System Symposium unanimously supported Russian Academy of Sciences' proposal, envisaging sending two twin spacecraft to the North and South lunar poles within Luna-27 project.
