Black Hole Spins Lying on Its Side A black hole in the X-ray binary MAXI J1820+070 turned out to be strongly tilted with respect to the orbit of the binary. This discovery may have seroius implications for the measurements of black hole masses and spins from X-Ray observations. The results are published in Science on February 25, 2022. IKI at XLVI Korolev Readings Annual Academic Space Readings dedicated to the memory of academician S. P. Korolev and other prominent Russian scientists – pioneers of space exploration started on January 25, 2022 at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. SRG/eRosita finds X-ray emission of the most luminous "cow" in the sky At first AT2020mrf seemed to be an ordinary optical transient, but thanks to SRG/eROSITA discovery of a new X-ray source in the same place it became clear that the astrophysicists have encountered the most peculiar object. Why not consider Sedna for a trip in 2029? Mission scenario to a dwarf planet Sedna was considered in a paper by IKI authors published by Advances in Space Research. Sedna, whose 10,000-year orbit reaches as far as inner Oort cloud, will pass its perihelion in 2075. It is perhaps the 'once-in-a-lifetime' chance to send the spacecraft to this object and wait for the results to come to the same generation.
