The new catalogue includes more than one and a half thousand objects. Mikhail Pavlinsky ART-XC telescope is one of the two instruments aboard Russian Spektr-RG space observatory, currently working in L2 point.

On May 10-12, 2024 Earth's magnetosphere experienced the most dramatic perturbations in this century, caused by the extreme solar activity and, specifically, coronal mass ejections, which occured on May 7-9, 2024.

On April 24, 2024, the telescope completed fifth all-sky survey.

SN2024ggi, a II-type supernova, was first found on April 11, 2024 by ATLAS project team. It sits in a nearby galaxy NGC3621. Mikhail Pavlinsky ART-XC telescope onboard Spektr-RG observatory was the first to register its X-ray emission.

April 10-12, 2024, IKI hosted the 21st Conference of Young Scientists, just before the Cosmonautics Day. For three days more than 200 students and researchers presented their scientific results in various fields of space science.

April, 1, 2024 Russian Science Foundation published the lists of winners of two grant competitions. Among the 515 projects of the individual scientific groups to be supported by RSF are the projects led by IKI researchers.
