Satellite Data Used To Assess the Dynamics of Swamps Colonization By Trees

Satellite data analysis shows that swamp territories in Russia are being colonized by trees. On an average, in 2001–2022 about 430 thousand hectares of forests growing on the swamp territories add annualy to the total forest area of the country.
