This year it was held jointly with the Polytechnic Museum, which prepared an extensive program of events for children and adults — the family festival “It's a Technology Matter: Space”. A recording of the festival’s lecture program is available.
Discovery of Electromagnetic Radiation In Dust Particle Dynamics Under Modelled Martian And Terrestrial Conditions Broadband electromagnetic radiation produced by collisions of charged dust particles was studied by researchers from IKI and their colleagues from MIPT and A. M Obkhov IAP RAS through observations in the Eurasian steppe and laboratory experiments simulating the Martian atmosphere. Their results, obtained for the first time, were confirmed by observations from the Perseverance rover (NASA) on the surface of Mars.
