The European Astronomical Society and Frits Zwicky Foundation awarded the 2026 Fritz Zwicky Prize for Astrophysics & Cosmology to Prof. Academician Rashid Sunyaev for his pioneering work on the cosmic microwave background and the theory of disk accretion.
