Up until now we have known the only one planet hosting life — the Earth. Life forms permeate all spheres on our planet, the and their diversity still amazes us.

That was not the case several billion years ago. The Earth was lifeless and bleak then. Still, once life emerged into existence on our planet. Can it happen again, in other star systems?
