25 декабря 2024 г. с космодрома Байконур был успешно запущен и выведен на заданную орбиту космический аппарат «Ресурс-П» №5 — часть комплекса дистанционного зондирования Земли «Ресурс-П». На его борту работают два звездных датчика БОКЗ-М60, созданные в отделе оптико-физических исследований ИКИ РАН.

Satellite data analysis shows that swamp territories in Russia are being colonized by trees. On an average, in 2001–2022 about 430 thousand hectares of forests growing on the swamp territories add annualy to the total forest area of the country.
